We are looking for spouses / partners of CF members (Regular or Class B or C Reservists) who are interested in joining the Calgary MFRC’s Board of Directors (BOD). If you are not sure what is involved, or what kind of commitment it entails, please read the following brief outline of our expectations:

• Time Commitment: Monthly meetings held on the third Monday of each month, which are approximately one hour in length; be present at Special Events; and take part in our fundraising endeavors.
  
  
• Role of the Board: Evaluate policy development, program effectiveness, and guide the direction of the MFRC. Set financial policies which are based on the goals & objectives of the Calgary MFRC. Provide guidance, support and direction to the ED, as well as evaluate her performance.
  
  
• Expectations: Attend an orientation session. Adhere to our privacy code. Respect other opinions, and feel free to express your opinion. Review the Calgary MFRC policies and procedures.
  
  
• Benefits of being a part of the BOD: Looks great on a resume. Banff retreat once every two years. May attend professional development workshops for free. Enhance the quality of the Calgary MFRC to better serve your military community.
